Open Floor Plan Home Remodel with Custom Cabinetry

This project was an open floor plan home remodel with custom cabinetry in the kitchen, living area and home office. This return customer was looking to purchase another home to provide more space for their growing family. After looking at several homes the family couldn’t find one that met their needs. Their solution was to call Foreman Family Remodeling and have their current home renovated!

The home was two bedrooms that we reconfigured into a three bedroom with an open floor plan and an office space that includes a Murphy bed.

Our pros converted a den into two additional bedrooms. The FFR team had to build an exterior wall, including siding and brick work, to match the existing exterior.

The finished open floor plan included custom cabinetry in the kitchen and living room built by Foreman Family Remodeling and painted in a minimalist white.

In the main part of the house, we tore down the center support wall and installed a structural beam, creating an open floor plan. We also installed a beautiful, custom 12 foot sliding glass door into the backyard. The FFR team completely remodeled the kitchen and built brand new custom cabinets with a custom kitchen island featuring a unique waterfall countertop that falls all the way to the floor.

Our professionals also built custom entertainment cabinets in the living room portion which had part of one of the existing bedrooms integrated into it to create more space in the open floor plan. These drawers house built-in, out of sight, charging stations for all of the family’s devices.

The home office features an entire wall of custom cabinetry that houses a Murphy bed. The doorway was opened up to install custom-built glass sliding doors.

The customer requested white throughout the home, all new lighting, luxury vinyl plank flooring (LVP). All custom cabinets were designed and built in house by our professionals.

The customer was beyond thrilled with this open floor plan home remodel with custom cabinetry and we could not be happier that they loved it so much!
